The Boston Americans 2016 team put together an impressive championship run at the CCM Nashville Tournament, bringing home the title after a strong weekend of competition.

The defending Elite 9 champions opened tournament play with a commanding 9-2 victory over Compuware before falling to the Jr. Sun Devils Elite in a hard-fought 4-3 overtime battle.

The Americans quickly bounced back, earning a convincing 9-4 victory over the Northern Wisconsin Knights. In the championship matchup, the Americans delivered when it mattered most, securing a 3-1 victory over the Nashville Warriors to claim the CCM Nashville championship.

The tournament title highlighted the team's resilience, determination, and ability to respond to adversity, adding another accomplishment to an already impressive resume.

The defending champions will look to carry their momentum from Nashville into Saturday's matchup, set for October 10 at 3:30 PM at Hockeytown.
