The Boston Americans are proud to introduce our Mite Supplemental Team for birth years 2018, 2019, and 2020!
This team is intended to supplement players’ current mite teams by offering additional development opportunities throughout the season.
About the E9 Prospects League:
This league is designed to serve as the final step before joining a full-season Elite 9 Mite team. Please note: this is not a learn-to-play or mite development program.
Player Selection:
Players for the Americans Prospects Program will be chosen through an evaluation process. Participation in the E9 Prospects Division (part of the Elite 9 Hockey League)—spots are not guaranteed.
Evaluation Skate:
We’ll be hosting an evaluation skate November 5th at 5:00 PM and November 13th at 6:10 PM at Hockeytown for all interested players. The season officially begins in December.
Season Timeline:
Runs from: December to early March
Games: Full-ice games held on Saturdays and/or Sundays vs. other E9 Prospects programs
The Boys Mite team will compete in full-ice E9 Prospects League games. Playing full ice helps players gain critical experience and build the habits and hockey IQ needed for long-term development.
